About the event

STAYING SAFE ONLINE

SoS Digital Support is a newly formed not-for-profit group in the Bega Valley Shire dedicated to assisting seniors aged 50+ to Get Connected and Stay Connected, and we are able to host this FREE event thanks to funding provided by the Be Connected initiative.

Be Connected is an Australian Government program aimed at increasing the confidence, skills and online safety of older Australians when using digital technology. Good Things Foundation works in collaboration with the eSafety Commissioner and Department of Social Services to deliver this program across Australia.

GUEST SPEAKER: Jason Simpson from My Small Business Coach

We'll hear from Jason as he discusses some of the prevalent email and phone frauds right now. In order to help others stay secure online, please share your experience if you have lately been the victim of a scam or if you have recently received any scam texts or emails.
