About the event

STAYING SAFE ONLINE

SoS Digital Support is a not-for-profit group in the Bega Valley Shire dedicated to assisting seniors aged 50+ to Get Connected and Stay Connected, and we can host this FREE event thanks to funding provided by the Be Connected initiative.

Be Connected is an Australian Government program aimed at increasing the confidence, skills and online safety of older Australians when using digital technology. Good Things Foundation works in collaboration with the eSafety Commissioner and the Department of Social Services to deliver this program across Australia.

GUEST SPEAKER: Sam Nerrie

We'll hear from Sam as she discusses safe web browsers, email and text scams and how to stay safe online.

To help others stay secure online, please feel free to share your experience if you have lately been the victim of a scam or if you have recently received any scam texts or emails.

We hope that you can join us for this information session including free morning tea and networking.

Because bookings are required and space is limited, be sure to make your reservations as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
