About the event
Getting Started Guide for Video Calling Using Facebook Messenger:
Facebook owns the messaging software known as Facebook Messenger, which can be used on a variety of devices, including iOS, Android, and web browsers. Users can chat with their Facebook friends and contacts with this app, which can be used on smartphones, tablets, and PCs.
Facebook Messenger provides text messaging, voice calling, and a variety of multimedia sharing options, including photographs, videos, and documents, in addition to video calling. Moreover, it offers chatbots, group discussions, and other interactive features.
We will walk you through a step-by-step session, including essential steps like scheduling your first Messenger video, sending text messages, making phone calls, how to share photos, and more tips and tricks.
SoS Digital Support is collaborating with the Bega Valley Shire Library to conduct this series of digital beginner sessions at the Bega Shire Library.Â
NOTE: You will need to have a Facebook account and be able to access it on the day.
The courses are free and available to seniors 50 and over. Bookings are essential as numbers will be limited.
Refreshments will be provided.
