SoS Digital Support is a Not For Profit group in the Bega Valley Shire aimed at supporting seniors aged 50+to Get Connected & Stay Connected and we are able to run this event due to funding from the Good Things Foundation.

This event is FREE and is part of the Get Online Week 2023, which is an international digital inclusion campaign organised by Good Things Foundation. This years campaign encourages adults 50+ to "Get Help to Get Online" from a local support group.

"EMERGENCY PLUS"

The Emergency+ app is a free app developed by Australia’s emergency services and their Government and industry partners.

The app uses GPS functionality built into smart phones to help a Triple Zero (000) caller provide critical location details required to mobilise emergency services. SoS Digital Support will help you to set up the app on your mobile phone as well as show you how to update your Medical ID in case of an emergency.

We hope that you can join us and take part in this workshop, which will be followed by a light lunch.
