Joins us and find out how to Get Started With your iPhone & iPad 

In this session, Samantha Nerrie will talk about various fundamentals of your iPhone or iPad, such as:

  • Downloading and setting up apps.
  • Activating the alarm.
  • Checking settings on all apps.
  • Removing Siri's ability to track these apps.
  • Alerts.
  • Alarm sounds.
  • Sharing iCloud with family. 
  • Choosing the wallpaper.

How to Automatically SWITCH HOME SCREENS with FOCUS Modes and:

  • How do I make different home screens for each focus - i.e. Do Not Disturb, Personal, Sleep, Work?
  • Can I make multiple home screens for the focus option on the iOS?
  • What are the different focus settings on the iPhone?
  • How do I get a different Lock Screen for focus?

SoS Digital Support is collaborating with the Bega Valley Shire Library to conduct this series of digital beginner sessions at the Tura Beach Library. 

NOTE: You will need to have a Apple account and your password to be able to access your account on the day.

The courses are free and available to seniors 50 and over. Bookings are essential, as numbers will be limited.

Refreshments will be provided.

SoS Digital Support is a newly formed not-for-profit group in the Bega Valley Shire dedicated to assisting seniors aged 50 and older to Get Connected and Stay Connected. We are able to offer this event for free thanks to the support of the Bega Valley Shire Library.

We will be utilising the Be Connected website tutorials, which are part of an Australian Government program aimed at increasing the confidence, skills, and online safety of older Australians when using digital technology. Good Things Foundation works in collaboration with the eSafety Commissioner and the Department of Social Services to deliver this program across Australia.
