Take a listen to the interview that Sapphire FM Community Radio recorded on the 14th October, as part of the 'Folk on Friday' where Graham Brown chats with Julie Novotny about cybersecurity for seniors. (NOTE: Interview starts 21 mins into the recording.)
"We had the opportunity to go through several strategies for remaining secure online, including establishing solid passwords and the advantages of utilising a password manager." says Julie Novotny
'Staying Safe Online' Information Session
This interview was a lead up to the Get Online Week event which is a yearly campaign organised by Good Things Foundation that aims to close the digital divide. Free digital skills events take place in hundreds of communities in October, to support people to get online. The campaign this year encouraged adults 50+ to "Try One Thing" online.
